Sunday 15th October, 2.30 – 4.30pm at Present Health Studios, Tunbridge Wells
Join Helen for this two hour practical workshop to gain understanding about the subtleties of how our hips work and why we tend to develop tension in this area.
We will flow through a gentle but powerful yoga practice designed specifically to stretch and release the muscles and connective tissues surrounding the hip joints and pelvis. The practice will be supported with information to help you better understand the anatomy of this area of your body and also the associated yoga theory and philosophy.
We will include simple sequences, thoughtful transitions and long holds in postures, working with intelligence and mindfulness to release tension and get grounded.
Props will be provided, although please feel free to bring you own if you have them. Please bring a blanket or something warm to wear as we complete our practice with a blissfully long savasana.
This workshop is open to all levels, from complete beginners to very experienced yogis. Various options will be offered where appropriate for differing levels and abilities.
